FLOWERHeadZ for Spring.
Artist Hugh Findletar aka Mr. FLOWERheadZ makes his FLOWERHeadZ in a baroque and playful design. Combining Murano glass with precious metals like gold, silver and copper makes FLOWERHeadZ a series of exclusive vases to fill with flowers for spring. Right now Hugh Findletar is taking part at the exhibition Vetro italiano contemporaneo d’autore (‘Vitrea: Contemporary Italian Art Glass’), curated by Jean Blanchaert at the Triennale di Milano from April 13 – June 13

Crowned Heads by Mr. FLOWERHeadZ
Listening to Caribbean legends and sharing his great-grandmother’s love for horticulture, artist Hugh Findletar has found a way to incorporate many passions into his glass works, made by master glass blowers in the furnaces of Murano and inspired by his childhood in Jamaica. His baroque FLOWERHeadZ are portrait busts of friends and muses, but also vases to fill with seasonal flowers.
